Engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank and laminate, installed with the precision a custom home deserves.
We are a licensed, bonded and insured flooring contractor serving homeowners, builders and realtors across the Phoenix area. Custom home, renovation or commercial space, we prep properly, install clean, and finish with tight transitions.
NewGen was started by someone who grew up on flooring job sites, to do it the way it should be done: starting with the subfloor, because a floor is only as good as what is underneath it.
A walkthrough of a job we completed, filmed on site. Captions are on, so it plays fine with the sound off.
One crew handles the whole floor, so nothing gets lost between trades.
Engineered hardwood installed over wood and concrete subfloors. We plan the layout before the first board goes down, so grain, color and transitions look intentional room to room.
Luxury vinyl plank and laminate for busy homes, rentals and commercial spaces that need durability without losing the look of real wood.
Treads, risers and landings finished to match the floors around them. Stairs are the most visible detail in a custom home, and we treat them that way.
Existing flooring removed and hauled away, with the work area kept clean and protected, so your project starts from a clear slate.
A floor is only as good as what is under it. We level, repair and prepare the subfloor so the finished surface stays flat, quiet and stable.

I grew up in the flooring industry, working on job sites long before I ever thought of it as a career. I went off to college and graduated, but I figured out fast that office work wasn't for me. I wanted to build something with my hands and see the results at the end of the day, so I came back to what I knew and made hardwood flooring my career. I started NewGen Hardwood Flooring to do it the way I think it should be done: starting with the subfloor, because a floor is only as good as what's underneath it.
Today we're a licensed, bonded and insured flooring contractor serving homeowners, builders and realtors across the Phoenix area. Whether it's a custom home, a renovation or a commercial space, we prep properly, install clean, and finish with tight transitions. We treat every job site with respect, and we aim to leave it cleaner than we found it. When it's done, it should look right on day one and hold up for years.
Layout, transitions and subfloor conditions are worked out before materials arrive.
We coordinate with GCs and site schedules and communicate clearly.
Finished homes are protected and left ready for the next trade or the homeowner.
